Pediatric Dentistry
Our team at Penny Creek Family and Cosmetic Dentistry is committed to improving and maintaining the oral health of infants, children, and adolescents. Our team is happy to provide all aspects of preventative and restorative dental care for your children. We recommend a child’s first visit between 2-3yrs of age.
Bridges
A bridge is a permanent restoration that replaces missing teeth. When a lost tooth is replaced with bridgework, the teeth adjacent to the missing tooth are prepared for crowns to serve as abutments to hold the prosthetic (replacement) tooth in place. Bridges are prepared from high quality precious metals, porcelain or the combination of the two. Esthetics, function and tissue compatibility are considered when selecting the material most suitable to meet the needs of the patient.
Root Canal Therapy
Endodontics, more commonly known as root canal therapy, is a service provided by Penny Creek Family and Cosmetic Dentistry. Profound anesthesia and modern technology have eliminated the fear associated with root canal treatment. Damage to the nerve tissue resulting from extensive decay, fractured teeth or a dental abscess can be treated with conservative endodontics. This allows patients to save their teeth and enjoy a pain-free mouth once again.
Oral Surgery
For your convenience, Dr. Slocum and Dr. Lundgaard perform a wide variety of surgical procedures including wisdom teeth removal. Our professional team strives to make your experience during the surgery as comfortable and pleasant as possible. We offer sedation to those individuals who would like to reduce their fear and anxiety associated with surgery.
